Redefine Health Fitness Program As Daily Routine
There was a time when health fitness was defined as the ability to carry out daily routines without undue fatigue. I have some sympathy with this definition because it feeds in to the practical elements of health fitness. It is all very well talking about the mind and how it works but for most people, they define health fitness as being able to do their daily tasks. 
This might not fit in with the stereotypical definitions that are put forward in the academic world but that is the reality that we have to deal with. In fact many people do not realize that they have health fitness until they lose it. It is only when they struggle to do everyday tasks that they will visit the doctor and request an urgent consultation.
It is safe to say that in most cases we take our health fitness for granted until it is taken away from us. That is the nature of things and it transcends all different social classes that are involved in the healthy industry in one way or the other.
The automation of the modern world has meant that we have been forced to review our attitudes to health fitness with a view to considering it as a measure of our capacity to do things but taking out the elements of free movement. We have mechanization that has changed the way that we live and therefore we also have to redefine what health fitness really means.
In effect we are working towards a situation whereby the health fitness definitions have to take into account that we spend the majority of our lives sitting down. This is a sustainable objective in the short term but we cannot hope to have healthy lifestyle if we live a sedentary lifestyle. One can say that it is not our fault that we live in an age where by the creature comforts have taken sway.
We should really just be enjoying the fruits of the world that we live in rather than worrying about our health fitness. This is the wrong approach to take and it has led to endemic obesity levels in the developed world. Everyone is too busy to exercise and they do not take the matter seriously enough.
We therefore have a situation whereby people are eating more and yet they are doing less. That is when weight really becomes a problem for the general public. Having found that we cannot really compete physically with our ancestors, we have then moved to definitions of health fitness that make reference to emotions and abstract feelings of happiness.
That is a good measure but it does not keep the pounds off when someone has been over indulging in certain food items. You need to take health fitness in its physical sense in order to get the full picture and there is no way that the modern world will be able to come out of this one. Chemicals are only a temporary solution.
