Effective Yoga Practices in Achieving Beauty Skin
Yoga is not all about asanas or sitting postures. Yoga is more a way of living where one tries to harness the life force for better physical, mental and emotional health. It constitutes not only of asanas or postures that are beneficial to the body but also of diet and meditation.
A yoga diet involves vegetarian food full of life force that is balanced and enhances the mental calm and peace. Practicing Yoga helps one in staying healthy and the most obvious proof is the glow and radiation that exudes from the skin and the face when one practices Yoga every day.
There are many asanas that help in getting a better skin, fight skin diseases and acquire a glow or radiation. An effective and easy Yoga Aasan is to stand straight with the feet about 1 foot apart. You should then cover your face with your palms and breathe deeply ten times followed by rubbing your face, forehead and cheeks. After this you should again breathe deeply ten times and rub the entire face with your fingers. This exercise helps in fighting wrinkles and bringing radiation and glow to your face. It also helps in eliminating dark circles.
Another simple exercise for a nice jaw line and a healthy glowing face is to rotate the tongue along the gums up to 21 times before meals. This helps to massage the cheek capillaries and brings glow to the face eliminating wrinkles along with toning of the gum. Pavan Muktasana and Bala Aasan are two other yoga asanas that help one gain a glowing and attractive skin.
Hala Asan or plough pose and gomukh aasan or cowhead position are other important yoga asanas for a good skin. Doing Surya Namaskar, which comprises of 10 Sun salutation exercises, has various benefits for the skin besides other advantages.
Viparita karani or inverted pose is a simple asana with many benefits. It helps good blood flow to the face bringing a radiation to the facial skin. This extra blood circulation helps to bring in more oxygen to the face and removes toxins from the facial skin. It also helps against aging effects on the facial skin. This asana apart from providing relief from anxiety and tension and inducing sleep helps in getting rid of acne on the skin. Thus we see that there are many methods in Yoga through which one can gain a healthy and glowing face.
